The article presents the issue of changing the regulation regarding the possibility of administering the sacraments of Penance, the Eucharist and the Anointing of the Sick to non-Catholic Christians. The regulation currently in force – codified in can. 844 §§ 3-5 CIC – is the result of modifications that took place in the legislation of the Roman Catholic Church.
