Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) is a law enforcement system in traffic areas by using a camera ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) as one of the electronic technologies that are used to detect traffic offenses. This policy began when many officers carried out illegal levies with the term "let’s end up this thing here" or “let’s make a peace”. The extremely high traffic offenses in Batu City cause legal problems such as not achieving orderliness in traffic. In this research, the researcher wants to know the mechanism for law enforcement of traffic offenses using the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system and the effectiveness of the application of this system in traffic offenses at Batu City Resort Police. This research used the empirical juridical method. The result of this research is that the law enforcement mechanism for the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system with CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) cameras captures/arrests motorists who commit traffic offenses, then sends them to the back office to identify vehicle data and a confirmation letter of the breach. Subsequently, the owner of the vehicle verifies and makes a payment. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) System in Traffic Offenses at Batu City Resort Police cannot be so effective, because there are still many people who commit traffic offenses, as evidenced by the questionnaire respondent data, it takes a long time to see whether is effective or ineffective.
