PROGRAM INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR LIMBAH (IPAL) KOMUNAL DI KELURAHAN TANJUNGREJO, KECAMATAN SUKUN, KOTA MALANG

Inadequate sanitation facilities that make people around the banks of the Berantas River accustomed to dumping domestic waste into the river, of course, this bad habit can cause various diseases that will have an impact on the community. The purpose of this study is expected that researchers can find out the extent of the implementation of the Communal Wastewater Management Installation program in Tanjungrejo Village and what are the obstacle factors in the Evaluation of the Communal Wastewater Management Installation Program in Tanjungrejo Village. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with data collection techniques obtained through Observation, Interviews and Documentation. Communal IPAL as an alternative to the problem of handling domestic waste is considered to be able to reduce problems related to household waste that has been thrown carelessly into river flows from the socialization of the program to the stage of realization and evaluation is considered quite successful so that many people actively participate in this Communal IPAL program
