PENGALAMAN SELF-MANAGEMENT PASIEN POSITIF COVID-19 DISERTAI KOMORBID HIPERTENSI

Most positive Covid-19 patients with comorbid hypertension have a high risk of complications and even death. Not all positive Covid-19 patients with comorbidities can survive after going through a critical period without doing good self-management. Self-management is carried out to improve the quality of life and change behavior to become aware of the importance of maintaining health. The success of self-management can be achieved with a greater willingness to change lifestyle to be healthier. This study aims to determine the experience of self-management Covid-19 positive patients accompanied by comorbid hypertension before being positive, while in the hospital and during the recovery period. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach strategy (Case Study Research) and purposive sampling technique. Triangulation data collection method using semi-structured interview techniques and documentation, as well as using domain analysis. By taking 3 participants, namely Covid-19 sufferers with comorbid hypertension, wife and biological children. The results of this study obtained 4 themes, namely 1) self-management, 2) the role of the family. 3) stress management, 4) efforts to prevent re-exposure to Covid-19. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the patient's experience in self-management discipline is very good, but it does not deny that they can be exposed to the Covid-19 virus as a result of non-compliance with health protocols. So having an awareness of your own health is important so that it doesn't have an impact on yourself or others
