Chronic indigestion (or vagal indigestion) syndrome refers to functional or mechanical disturbances of the ruminant stomach that impair gastrointestinal transit. Clinical signs include abdominal and ruminal distension as well as poor appetite, weight loss, dehydration, reduced fecal output, and bradycardia. Treatment depends on the underlying cause
