Objetivo. La troponina es el biomarcador más preciso disponible para aproximarse al diagnóstico y manejo de la lesión miocárdica aguda en la sala de emergencias (SE), sin embargo, la interpretación es dudosa en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica (ERC). Nosotros evaluamos el comportamiento de los niveles de Troponina I en pacientes atendidos por Infarto Agudo de Miocardio (IAM) con y sin ERC. Metodología.
