International audienceThe Tent Turned Toward the Setting Sun. – Like many other nomads in the Sahara or Sahel, the Tuareg set up their tents in relation to axes, each of which is assigned a value. This reminds us of Pierre Bourdieu's description of the Kabyle house in 1963 and, inevitably, of the « disenchantment » he later expressed about what he called his « last work as a cheerful structuralist ».
