The phenomenon of homosexuality in the historical context.

This thesis focuses mainly on homosexuality in the human society from the view of historical, social, cultural and clinical aspects. It is concerned with cultural and historical periods of gays and lesbians in our country. The reader should gain a complex view on this area from this thesis which is based on analysis of society attitudes together with a comparison to other modern and developed cultures. The text is divided into several sections: part one defines homosexuality as a clinical term, part two deals with changes in attitudes towards homosexuality from a historical point of view, part three gives information about civil partnership, discrimination and homoparentality.
