The paper defines leadership and highlights its essence and importance in the modern world, and also discusses the foundation, evolution and barriers of leadership from ancient times to present with relevant sources, reviews and commentaries. The main purpose of the paper is to show that leadership is a skill that can be developed and how to apply leadership styles situationally.
