IMPACTO DE LOS RESIDUOS DE CONSTRUCCIÓN Y DEMOLICIÓN EN LA ZONA DE REGLAMENTACIÓN ESPECIAL DE LOS PANTANOS DE VILLA DE LIMA, PERÚ

The increase in solid waste in cities worldwide and the deficit in local efforts in Latin America regarding this problem, not only affects the health and well-being of people. In the case of the wetlands of the Pantanos de Villa Wildlife Refuge (RVSPV), Chorrillos, located in the metropolitan city of Lima, Peru. It has been identified that the greatest problem in the Special Regulation Zone (ZRE), is the disposal of construction and demolition waste (CDW) on public roads, areas without construction and canals that feed this wetland. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of CDWs on the ZRE of RVSPV. For this reason, it began with the identification of the five points with the highest incidence of waste (La Chira, El Remero, Don Emilio, Hipocampo and El Triunfo), then four measurements of the volume of waste were made with an interval of two weeks. for each point in order to determine the negative impact of CDW on the ZRE of RVSPV. The point with the highest incidence of CDW was El Triunfo, where it was identified that the air and the soil are the main environmental components that have been affected. It is suggested to value CDW through a circular economy; however, in the face of the resolution of the CDW problem, the logistics of the municipalities in charge are seen as an impediment in the recovery and restoration of space. keywords: Waterways – environmental components – final disposal – negative impact – construction and demolition waste El incremento de residuos sólidos en las ciudades a nivel mundial y el déficit en las gestiones locales de América Latina respecto a este problema, no solo afecta a la salud y al bienestar de las personas. En el caso de los humedales del Refugio de Vida Silvestre de los Pantanos de Villa (RVSPV), Chorrillos, situado en la ciudad metropolitana de Lima, Perú, se ha identificado que la mayor problemática en la Zona de Reglamentación Especial (ZRE), es el arrojo de los residuos de construcción y demolición (RCD) en vías públicas, áreas sin construcción y canales que alimentan a este humedal. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar el impacto de los RCD en la ZRE de RVSPV. Por tal motivo, se inició con la identificación de los cinco puntos de mayor incidencia de residuos (La Chira, El Remero, Don Emilio, Hipocampo y El Triunfo), luego se realizaron cuatro mediciones del volumen de los residuos con un intervalo de dos semanas para cada punto con el objetivo de determinar el impacto negativo de los RCD en la ZRE de RVSPV. El punto con mayor incidencia de RCD fue El Triunfo, donde se identificó que el aire y el suelo son los principales componentes ambientales que se han afectado. Se sugiere valorizar los RCD mediante una economía circular; sin embargo, frente a la resolución de la problemática de arrojo de RCD se tiene a la logística de las municipalidades a cargo como un impedimento en la recuperación y restauración de espacio
