Anterior uveitis is the cause of approximately 5-10% of blindness worldwide. There are different etiologies that vary from: viruses from the family of Herpesviridae and rubella, bacteria like T. syphilis, M. tuberculosis and L. interrogans, and parasites like T. gondii. Usually, the clinical presentation is insidious; the most common symptoms are pain, red eye, blurry vision and photophobia. It is also usual to encounter keratic precipitates and alterations in the ciliary body and iris, which could produce a rise in the intraocular pressure. In most cases the diagnosis is hard to establish due to the homogeneity of the symptoms, which is why a high suspicion according to the clinical history, and the use of diverse tools like the Goldmann W...
