España y la cultura española en la obra de N. S. Gumiliov

This article is dedicated to the analysis of Spanish motifs in the works of the Russian Silver Age poet Nikolai Stepanovich Gumiliov (1886-1921). Under the Spanish motifs we understand the mentions of Spanish proper names or the cultural realities of Spain. While there are numerous studies on oriental, African, or Italian influences on the poet's works, nothing has been published yet about the Spanish subject. The article presents a brief biographical review of Gumiliov's life, showing the origin of foreign influences in his artistic creation. In total, the Spanish theme is treated in 26 poems and 4 plays. It appears in the first collection of poems by the poet that bears the title of The Way of Conquistadors; Spanish motifs remain present in Gumiliov's work until the last year of his life. The poet often used the image of the Spanish conquistador. Gumiliov in several poems dealt with the theme of the discovery of America and the Conquista. Another frequent image in his work is the figure of Don Juan. The Trickster of Seville is present not only in Gumiliov's poetry, but also in the drama Don Juan in Egypt. The article shows that Spain was an important source of inspiration for Gumiliov.El presente artículo está dedicado al análisis de los motivos españoles en la obra del poeta ruso de la Edad de Plata Nikolái Stepánovich Gumiliov (1886-1921). Por motivos españoles se entienden las menciones de nombres propios españoles o de las realidades culturales de España. Mientras que hay numerosos estudios sobre las influencias orientales, africanas o italianas en la obra del poeta, todavía no se ha publicado ningún trabajo sobre el tema español. El artículo presenta un breve repaso biográfico de la vida de Gumiliov, muestra el origen de las influencias extranjeras en su creación artística. En total, el tema español es tratado en 26 poemas y 4 obras de teatro. Aparece en el primer poemario del poeta que lleva el título de Camino de los conquistadores; los motivos españoles siguen presentes en la obra de Gumiliov hasta el último año de su vida. El poeta a menudo usaba la imagen del conquistador español. Gumiliov en varios poemas trató el tema del descubrimiento de América y de la Conquista. Otra imagen frecuente en su obra es la figura de Don Juan. El burlador de Sevilla está presente no solo en la poesía de Gumiliov, sino también en el drama Don Juan en Egipto.
