Meeting Notes of the Consistory of the First Reformed Church

At a meeting of the Consistory of the First Reformed Church with Rev. Albertus Van Raalte, elders H. Broek, J. A. Wilterdink, D. J. Hekhuis, J. Labots (clerk) and deacons A. de Weerd, A. Plugger, and Keppel present, the Consistory dealt mainly with the slander of the pastor and Consistory by the person who had published the article in De Hollander, The Pope and His Cardinals. The author was anonymous and may have been either a member of this church or the Zeeland church.
