Introduction: A physical exercise program as a strategy allows the elderly to be active during confinement in a secure manner. Objective: To determine the effects of a physical exercise program for the improvement of strength and flexibility in elderly people belonging to the Flipper N.C. sports club in the city of Ibagué (Tolima). Materials and methods: the sample consisted of 20 elderly people between 60 and 86 years of age, the Senior Fitness test battery was applied to evaluate the levels of strength and flexibility, BMI and level of physical activity were also evaluated.
