Pornography by Twitter Social Media Account (Case Study On Alter Account @juliebabys) AFIFAH DINIILAH 177510713 ABSTRACT The development of pornography activities is increasing every day and it can’t be separated from the development of communication technology at this time, even now it can be easily accessed freely through the web or social media applications that are supported by an internet connection. Social media Twitter is dubbed as one of the giant networks in the distribution of pornographic content in the world, where that activity is dominated by alter accounts. One of alter account @juliebabys take advantage of this to shows her passion freely and the activity of selling and buying her pornographic contents continues because it’s considered to be profitable in terms of finances. This study aims to determine the motives and modes of the alter account @juliebabys on Twitter as a pornographic account. The method which used in this study is a qualitative method, by conducting some interviews with key informant and also several informants who are considered to be related with this topic. Apart from being profitable in terms of finances and also a means of showing her hobbies, alter account @juliebabys freely trade her pornographic contents by sending a link containing with her nude videos and photos which it will be exchanged for a certain amount of money from the followers of her accounts. Therefore, the routine activity theory as the theory that used in this study has a function to see the relation between routine activities or habits which carried out by someone in cyberspace have a strong impact with the risk of becoming a victim of crime or aberration on Twitter
