In this article, I argue that indigenous women have a multifaceted experience of domination that challenges monistic understanding of the social structure, whether based on patriarchy, ethnic, or class domination. They are questioning an oppressive and interconnected world system. This condition allows them to contribute to the construction of collective subjects not only centered on ethnic, gender, and class factors but as creators of new liberating ways of life that transcend the unilateral perspectives of emancipatory processes.
