Russian-Czech cultural standards in the work environment

The thesis focuses on culture, intercultural communication, theories of dimensions of cultures and cultural standards. The aim of the thesis is to identify Russian-Czech and Czech-Russian cultural standards based on the critical incident method according to Alexander Thomas in the context of workplace communication, to compare the results of primary research with theoretical approaches, to describe the spheres of influence of given cultures and to formulate recommendations.Diplomová práce se zabývá kulturou, interkulturní komunikací, teoriemi dimenzí kultur a kulturními standardy. Cílem práce je na základě metody kritických incidentů dle Alexandra Thomase v rámci komunikace na pracovišti identifikovat rusko-české a česko-ruské kulturní standardy, komparovat výsledky primárního výzkumu s teoretickými přístupy, popsat sféry vlivu daných kultur a formulovat doporučení
