Evaluation of stress at work in public sector organizations: The case of the general Adolfas Ramanauskas warfare training center of the Lithuanian Armed Forces

According to scientific literature, stress is identified as both negative and positive. Positive stress is not problematic phenomenon in organizations and rather influences organization's employees positively, improves the organization's activities. This study provides a negative stress risks to the organizations and their personnel, by stress causes, its assessment on the conflict and their solutions, stress management (reduction) techniques. The aim of this study – to determine Lithuanian armed forces general Adolfas Ramanauskas warfare training center staff work-related stress levels and offer stress reduction techniques. In order to achieve the aim of the study there was made scientific literature analysis, also organization's staff research on the work stress in order to determine the organizations workers stress causes, the level of stress and the possible ways of overcoming it.
