The aim of work: To investigate and assess the stressful factors of the work environment of the Kaunas City ambulance station workers and find links with stress related expressions. Methods: The object of the research was Kaunas City emergency medical staff. Research method – an anonymous survey. 149 emergency medical staff from Kaunas City ambulance participated in the research. The response rate – 72,68 %. Statistical analysis of the data was performed using the statistical software package SPSS 22.0 for Windows. The reliability of the differences between the collected data was evaluated using chi-square (χ²) criterion.
