Oral history interview with Thelma W. Deason, a clerk with the Florida Health Department for 37 years. Deason began her career as a finance officer for the Liberty County School Board when she was hired as a clerk typist for the Liberty County health department in 1961 and continued to work there and for the Gadsden County health department until her retirement in 1998. Deason discusses many of the changes she witnessed during her tenure including the growth of the health department staff.
