Monitoring actions are necessary for the evaluation of indicators that reveal the evolution of ecological restoration. The contribution of litter can be indicative of the sustainability of a planted forest or mixed reforestation with native species. This work aimed to evaluate the functionality of a reforestation in Laranjeiras, SE, using the contribution of litter as indicator. Reforestation was carried out in November 2005, using 31 native forest species.
