Educação alimentar e nutricional : intersecção entre alimentação saudável e o relacionamento interpessoal dos alunos na merenda escolar

The act of feeding is not unique to humans, as animals do so, being fundamental for any life form to sustain and develop. However, it is true that only man is able to attribute to food meanings beyond the biological requirement, making it also a cultural act. Since the school is a place where food is present, the aim of this study is to analyze the eating experience of the students of the Municipal School, Intendente Manuel Cândido Ferreira, located in Boquim / SE. The specific objectives are: To investigate the school meals offered in the school in its entirety, starting from the menu foods until the moment experienced by the students in the act of eating them; Know the ideas and visions of students about healthy eating and its sociocultural implication; Verify to what extent students value the region's food and cultural heritage; Encourage the production and dissemination of new knowledge about food, respecting and observing students' sociocultural differences; Understand the changes in knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of different types of food. The selected methodology has exploratory character, descriptive and qualitative nature, starting with a bibliographic research in different sources, proceeding with an investigation in the approached school divided into observation and data collection through open questionnaires and culminating with the application of a didactic sequence. The results indicate that there is no proper space for students to eat and interact at the time of school meals, making it difficult to exercise commensality, and that many bring harmful foods to health to school, being primordial changes that favor interactivity at the time of lunch and a complete and restorative food education in this and other schools in Brazil.O ato de se alimentar não é exclusivo do ser humano, pois os animais também o fazem, sendo fundamental para que qualquer forma de vida se sustente e se desenvolva. Porém, é certo que apenas o homem é capaz de atribuir à alimentação significados para além do quesito biológico, tornando-a também um ato cultural. Sendo a escola um lugar onde a alimentação está presente, o objetivo deste estudo é analisar a experiência alimentar dos alunos da Escola Municipal Ex. Intendente Manuel Cândido Ferreira, localizada em Boquim/SE. Os objetivos específicos são: investigar a merenda escolar oferecida na escola em sua completude, partindo-se dos alimentos do cardápio até o momento vivenciado pelos alunos no ato de comê-los; conhecer as ideias e visões dos alunos acerca da alimentação saudável e da sua implicação sociocultural; verificar em que medida os alunos valorizam os alimentos da região e de herança cultural; favorecer a produção e a divulgação de novos conhecimentos sobre alimentos, respeitando e observando as diferenças socioculturais dos alunos; perceber as transformações ocorridas no conhecimento sobre as vantagens e desvantagens de diferentes tipos de alimentos. A metodologia selecionada tem caráter exploratório, natureza descritiva e qualitativa, iniciando com uma pesquisa bibliográfica em diferentes fontes, prosseguindo com uma investigação na escola abordada dividida em observação e coleta de dados através de questionários abertos e culminando com a aplicação de uma sequência didática. Os resultados apontam que não há espaço próprio para os alunos comerem e interagirem no momento da merenda escolar, dificultando o exercício da comensalidade, e que muitos levam alimentos prejudiciais à saúde para a escola, sendo primordiais mudanças que favoreçam a interatividade no momento da merenda e uma educação alimentar completa e restauradora nessa e em outras escolas do Brasil.São Cristóvão, S
