Add to ORKGExcavation of series of test-pits in a scheduled monument that proved a Celtic field (rather than an urnfield). AMS dates and flint suggest earliest use of the site in the Middle Neolithic, whilst agricultural usage presumably started in the Bronze Age. AMS and OSL dating of banks suggest the Celtic field system was in play from ca. 1700 BC to 150 AD. Ploughmarks were found in both fields and banks
