This article provides a synthetic overview of the methodology and a brief presentation of the results of a participant obser¬vation study among junior high school students. The first part of the paper briefly presents the research methodological assumptions. It also describes the course of fieldwork and the research environment as well as the author’s methodological and ethical considerations regarding participant observation of junior high school students. The second part of the article is focused on different dimensions of pedagogical interactions.
