The subject of this article is the analysis of law as it stands regarding protection of remuneration for work regulated in the Labour Code. The starting point is to explain the meaning of a term “remuneration for work” which is not defined in the statute. The second part deals with the protective regulation concerning the prohibition against renouncing the right to remuneration. In the another part of this article the author depicts the issue of rules of payment of remuneration, especially forms, procedures and day of payment. The last subsection covers the aspect of deductions from remuneration.
