W pracy rozpoznano przydatność wskaźnika określającego stopień wysycenia gleby fosforem (DPS), wyznaczonego wyłącznie na podstawie zawartości fosforu w glebie wyekstrahowanego z użyciem wody destylowanej, do oceny ryzyka wynoszenia fosforu fosforanowego wraz ze spływem powierzchniowym z pola uprawnego. Wykorzystana w pracy wersja wskaźnika DPS została niedawno opracowana i ma charakter nowatorski w stosunku do istniejących jego wcześniejszych wariantów. Badania przeprowadzono w latach 2013–2014 na gruncie ornym położonym na stoku o nachyleniu ok. 5%, w wybranym gospodarstwie w województwie zachodniopomorskim.
