International audienceThe PLEIADES software environment is a simulation framework allowing the development of fuel performance codes dedicated to specific nuclear systems (PWR, SFR, and material testing reactors), experimental devices, and advanced fuel modeling. This chapter presents first the general features of the PLEIADES software environment to assess the fuel element multiphysics behavior under irradiation. Then two fuel performance codes of the PLEIADES platform, ALCYONE and GERMINAL, devoted, respectively, to PWR and SFR fuel concepts, are presented. This presentation is structured with the following items: general presentation, physical models, validation, and international benchmarks
