The prevalence of violence and bullying among town's and district's high school students

Harming and bullying among school-age is a particularly offensive form of antisocial behavior, which sometimes leads to suicide. There are many serious reasons, that makes us think and try to solve the prevalence of violence and bullying at school. The violence harms to the person, which is experiencing that, making the high fear, feeling of insecurity, anxiety, helplessness, and that does not match the aims of each school – to create a safe school, to develop responsible, independent, socially conscious personality. The object of the research: The prevalence of violence and bullying. The purpose of the research: To find out the prevalence of violence and bullying in town’s and district’s schools among higher classes students. Hypothesis: The prevalence of violence and bullying among higher classes students, is higher in town’s schools than in district’s schools. The tasks of the research: 1. To identify and rate the prevalence of violence and bullying in high schools, among 11-12 classes students by place of residence. 2. To identify and rate the prevalence of violence and bullying in high schools, among 11-12 classes students by gender. Conclusions: 1. Analysis the findings of the research by place of residence is found, that the violence and bullying, among 11-12 classes students are more prevalent in town’s schools. Comparing the answers of town’s and district’s schools students, it was found that things are taking away from students and breaking are more often in town’s schools (p0,05) or beaten by peers or older students (p0,05)
