Primary school students motor skills

The basis for children's motor skills is the basis for all sports and daily movements. Without well-developed motor skills children would not be able to take a part in sports activities, sport classes, participate in team competitions or simply to manage a ball. Object of the studies: 3-4 grade primary school student’s motor skills. Aim of the studies: To identify and compare the motor skills of 3-4 grade primary school student’s girl’s and boy’s. Task of the studies: 1. Identify the motor skills of 3-4 grade girl’s. 2. Identify the motor skills of 3-4 grade boy’s. 3. Compare the girl’s motor skills with an object and without (self-movement). 4. Compare boy’s motor skills with an object and without (self-movement). 5. Compare the motor skills of girl’s and boys with the object and without the object (self-movement) Hypothesis of the studies: 1. Boy’s motor skills with an object are better than without (self-movement). 2. Girl’s motor skills are better without an object (self-movement) than with an object Results: The results of the boy’s and girl’s motor skills with the object were different. Boy’s are superior to girl’s at dribbling and bouncing the ball (p <0.05). However, girl’s threw the target more accurate and caught the ball better (p <0.05). Girl’s have better developed self-movement motor skills. The results of girl’s in all self-movement tests were better than boy’s (p <0.05). The most complicated thing for both girl’s and boy’s were rope-skipping, but girl’s still did it better than boys (p
