Research object – The effect of post-activation potentiation on velocity of throws. Research subjects – 9 physically active Lithuanian male judo athletes that were medalists in Lithuanian championship in cadets age group (n=9). Age 15,3 ± 0,4 years, weight 73,8 ± 11,5 kg, height 179,3 ± 7 cm. In order to objectively evaluate the results subjects were assigned to groups depending on weight. Athletes weighing from 60 to 66 kg were assigned to the first group, athletes weighing from 79 to 90 kg were assigned to the second group. Objectives of the research: 1.
