Physiotherapy effect of the wrist rom and hand muscle strength, after broken distal radius fracture

The subject of the research: wrist ROM and hand muscle strenght . Objective: The aim of this researh was to compare the effects of home-based exercise and hospital-based exercise program on the recovery of wrist ROM and hand muscle strenght. Goals of the research: 1. To determine and compare wrist ROM before and after physiotherapy in the home-based exercise and hospital- based exercise program group. 2. To determine and compare hand muscle strenght before and after physiotherapy in the home-based exercise and hospital- based exercise programs. Hypothesis: wrist ROM and hand muscle strenght, after four weeks will be greater in the home-based exercise program group compare to hospital-based exercise program group. Methods: 1. Goniometry. 2. Dynamometry. Conclusions: 1. Wrist flexion, extension and ulnar deviation were significantly greater in home-based exercise program group. Forearm supination and pronation were significantly greater in hospital-based exercise program group. 2. Measurements of the hand muscle was significantly greater in home-based exercise program group
