REKAYASA ULANG PROSES BISNIS PADA PT. BANUA JAYA MANDIRI BANJARMASIN

Along with advances in information technology, growing business competition and the wider reach of a business, it becomes a necessity for companies to be able to optimize every business process to be more effective and efficient. Reengineering is used to identify, analyze, and redesign the business processes of a company/organization with the aim of achieving dramatic improvements in critical performance measures such as cost, quality, service and speed. Achievements were made by reengineering, namely supporting more of a company mission and reducing costs. PT. Banua Jaya Mandiri is one of the companies engaged in providing electrical installation services which is currently developing, so it is necessary to improve the quality and speed of service. However, the business processes at PT. Banua Jaya Mandiri has not run well and has problems that can interfere with the company's operational activities. Using the BPR method and throughput efficiency testing to generate alternative strategies. The research used to obtain data obtained through literature study, interviews and observations at PT. Banua Jaya Mandiri. The final result obtained from this research is a recommendation of a business process by reducing several stages of the process in a new electrical installation in the initial process having 24 processes, which can be shortened to 15 processes. Then in the process of changing customer power and migrating customer meters which initially had 12 processes, it could be shortened to 8 processes. Meanwhile, the throughput efficiency of new electrical installations which was initially valued at 35.16% could increase to 64.84%. Followed by changes in customer power and migration of customer meters with initial throughput efficiency below 60% can increase to 100%
