This thesis examines the result of the Constitutional Court choice depending on the decision in 2014 and 2017 on Article 7 paragraph (1) of the 1974 Marriage Law with a maqashid sharia analysis. the Problem starting from early marriage or the age of children often get some special attention by some group. Because of the determination of the age limit for marriage, namely the age of 16 years for women is considered inappropriate and contrary to the Constitution.
