ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of compensation and LMX (leader member exchange) to increase organizational commitment, either directly or through mediation of job satisfaction.Partial Least Square (PLS) quantitative approach was used to analyze the data of 30 employees of the Financial and Asset Management Agency of Pasuruan City, which was taken by census.Empirical findings obtained that the increasing compensation is able to encourage increased organizational commitment, either directly or through mediation of job satisfaction.
