KONSEP BELAS KASIHAN MENURUT INJIL MATIUS 18:23-35

This article is the result of research on a compassionate life for fellow human beings according to the Gospel of Matthew 18:23-35. The method used is exegesis. The results show that compassion is the key to forgiving others. Everyone who believes in Jesus receives forgiveness from God by God's great mercy through the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught every believer to forgive because they have received His mercy. Not forgiving others means that God does not forgive us because what has been sown on earth will be reaped in heaven. Allah's punishment will apply to everyone who does not forgive. Therefore, this attitude needs to be taken and applied by every believer who has received forgiveness from God in Jesus Christ.Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang kehidupan yang penuh belas kasihan kepada sesama manusia menurut Injil Matius 18:23-35. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksegesis. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa belas kasihan adalah kunci untuk mampu mengampuni sesama. Setiap orang yang percaya Yesus menerima pengampunan dari Allah oleh belas kasihan Allah yang besar melalui pribadi Yesus Kristus. Yesus mengajarkan setiap orang percaya untuk mengampuni karena telah menerima belas kasihan-Ny. Tidak mengampuni sesama berarti Allah juga tidak mengampuni kita sebab apa yang telah di tabur di dunia akan di tuai di surga. Hukuman Allah akan berlaku kepada setiap orang yang tidak mengampuni. Oleh karena itu, sikap ini perlu diambil dan diaplikasikan oleh setiap orang percaya yang telah menerima pengampunan dari Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus
