HUBUNGAN ANTARA ADVERSITY QUOTIENT, DUKUNGAN SOSIAL, DAN KECEMASAN MENGHADAPI DUNIA KERJA PADA MAHASISWA SEMESTER AKHIR

Individuals who enter early adulthood, such as students, have a developmental task to enter the world of work and prepare for a career, students should ti physically and psychologically independent to enter the world of work. However in reality they are still many students who are not psychologically ready, which can cause anxiety in facing the world of work. Some of the factors that can cause fellings of anxiety are the increasing number of job seekers and the narrower field of work, lack of competent abilities and skills, lack of work experience, and fear of negative views from others if you don’t have a job after graduating from college. This study aims to determine the relationship between adversity quotient, social support and anxiety in facing the world of work in final semester students. The research method used is quantitative by distributing 3 research scales, namely the scale of anxiety in facing the world of work, the scale of adversity quotient and the scale of social support. This research was conducted on final semester students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta with a total sample of 108 students. Hypothesis test used is multiple regression analysis test with the help of SPSS 16. The results showed that there is a negative relationship between adversity quotient and social support with anxiety facing the world of work in the final semester students. The contribution of the adversity quotient variable and social support to the anxiety variable in facing the world of work is 35.6%
