Defend our libraries from pressure groups

Springfield voters approved a charter amendment, sponsored by the Oregon Citizens Alliance, to prohibit the promotion of homosexuality. Supporters of the measure intended to deny homosexuals special rights as a protected class but now want to examine library books for homosexual content and messages.
