Estudio morfológico del cysticercus tenuicollis en ovinos faenados en mataderos.

The production of sheep in Ecuador it is carried out by small producers or the peasantry in general, with poor sanitary management. In the present research a study is carried out through an inspection post mortem about the morphological, molecular, prevalence and distribution characteristics of the Cysticercus tenuicollis in slaughtered sheep in slaughterhouses. Samples were taken from 200 slaughtered sheep since January to December 2020, resulting 82 positive cases to the parasite (28 females and 54 males); your bodily condition is of 2 to 3 over 5 and their ages from 11 months to 3 years; the affected organs and number of cysts found were omentum with 191, liver with 92, lung with 47, female reproductive system 5 and hearth 1. The cyst size varies from 2 cm to 15cm; the weight of 2gr to 16gr and the observed characteristics in the laboratory are serous membrane, transparent, blood supply, transparent liquid with protein content, a single scholex, four suction cups, double hook crown, in the liver and lungs they form hemorrhagic migration paths. In the molecular study of the Cysticercus tenuicollis integrity was maintained of the samples, guaranteeing extraction, assessment and quantification of the DNA, which satisfactorily reflects the sequence of 20 analyzed samples which represent 100%. As a result the correlation is reflected of the amplification of the primers NAD_COX1 that were specific and its identification was optimal. The used primers were specific for cysticerci, in this case 5´CARTTTCGTAAGGGBCCWAAWAAGGT direct and 5´- CCAATTTCYTGAAGTTAACAGCATCA reverse keeping the behavior for cestodos.La producción de ovinos en Ecuador la desempeñan pequeños productores o el campesinado en general, con un deficiente manejo sanitario. En la presente investigación se realiza un estudio mediante la inspección post mortem sobre las características morfológicas, moleculares, prevalencia y distribución del Cysticercus tenuicollis en ovinos faenados en mataderos. Se tomaron muestras de 200 ovinos faenados desde enero a diciembre 2020, dando como resultado 82 casos positivos al parásito (28 hembras y 54 machos); su condición corporal es de 2 a 3 sobre 5 y sus edades de 11 meses a 3 años; los órganos afectados y cantidad de quistes encontrados fueron epiplón con 191, hígado con 92, pulmón con 47, aparato reproductor de la hembra 5 y corazón 1. El tamaño del quiste varía de 2cm hasta 15cm; los pesos de 2gr hasta 16gr y las características observadas en laboratorio son membrana cerosa, transparente, irrigación sanguínea, líquido transparente con contenido proteico, un solo escólex, cuatro ventosas, doble corona de ganchos, en el hígado y pulmones forman trayectos de migración hemorrágica. En el estudio molecular del Cysticercus tenuicollis se mantuvo la integridad de las muestras, garantizando la extracción, valoración y cuantificación del ADN, lo que refleja satisfactoriamente la secuencia de 20 muestras analizadas que representa el 100%. Como resultado se refleja la correlación de la amplificación de los primers NAD– COX1 que fueron específicos y su identificación fue óptima. Los primers utilizados son específicos para cisticercos, en este caso 5´CARTTTCGTAAGGGBCCWAAWAAGGT directo y 5´- CCAATTTCYTGAAGTTAACAGCATCA inverso; manteniendo el comportamiento para cestodos
