A INTERVENÇÃO DA PSICOLOGIA: TENTATIVAS DE SUICÍDIO E URGÊNCIA HOSPITALAR

The purpose of this paper is to present an intervention project psychology service in an emergency hospital in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brazil. Considering the high prevalence of suicide attempts in the municipality and the care provided in the Ready Hospital Relief in recent years, has built an assistance project in the Psychology Service operates from the host to the patients and their families during medical treatment and the necessary subsequent referrals. Following a predetermined flow, after medical treatment, the psychologist (on duty 24 hours) performs the first evaluation of the patient in the emergency room, a follow-up care through unique listening, provides necessary guidance for the patient to continue treatment in the network health, responsible for the hospital after discharge. This work aims to place the patient in the mental health system, taking as a starting point the psychological care in the emergency room in order to reduce the recurrence of suicide attempts. The partnership established with the Hospital surveillance industry, notifying the cases attended for further epidemiological study has been of fundamental importance for achieving the goals. It is intended that the project will be the starting point for the expansion of reference calls in the mental health network of the municipality.A proposta deste trabalho é apresentar um projeto de intervenção do serviço de Psicologia em um hospital de emergência no município de Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brasil. Considerando a alta prevalência de tentativas de suicídio no município e os atendimentos realizados no Pronto Socorro do hospital nos últimos anos, foi construído um projeto de assistência em que o Serviço de Psicologia atua desde o acolhimento ao paciente e seus familiares, durante o tratamento clínico e nos encaminhamentos posteriores necessários. Seguindo um fluxo previamente determinado, após o atendimento médico, o psicólogo (plantonista nas 24 horas) realiza a primeira avaliação do paciente no Pronto Socorro, dá seguimento à assistência através da escuta singular, fornece orientações necessárias para que o paciente continue o tratamento na rede de saúde, sendo responsá- vel pela alta hospitalar após a alta médica. Este trabalho tem como objetivo inserir o paciente na rede de saúde mental, tendo como ponto de partida o atendimento psicológico no Pronto Socorro com o intuito de diminuir as recidivas de tentativas de suicídio. A parceria estabelecida com o setor de Vigilância Hospitalar, através da notificação dos casos atendidos para posterior estudo epidemiológico tem sido de fundamental importância para a consecução dos objetivos.
