The text deals a new reading of peasant’s life manners in settlements in semi-arid areas of Ceará State, Northeast Brazil. It is an analysis that integrates the productive and educational dimensions with spaces of no formal education. In this paper, we consider that the education process is present in many different spaces and moments of peasant’s life: at home, in the land of cultivation, in between productive practices and also, in the articulation of peasants with social movements. In this matter, commons places traveled in daily routines represent spaces full of cultural and social meanings and experienced knowledge.
