Brief contextualization of rural education in Brazil and the contrasts with the education in the countryside

This work is the result of the Masters Dissertation in the PPGEA - Graduate Program in Agricultural Education, UFRRJ - Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Its main objective is to understand the context of the emergence and supply of rural education in Brazil and its main contrasts with the education of the countryside, in a close articulation with the peasant social movements. We perform a brief contextualization, based on a bibliographical review, articles, dissertations and dissertations on virtual platforms, seeking to understand the emergence and social insertion of these models of education, in a historical, political and social perspective, characterizing the subjects, individual and collective, attended. We understand how dominant political forces have imposed their ideological models of education on peasants and how the school acted to reproduce this ideology of education. Finally, we reflect on the main contrasts between rural education and rural education, realizing the main implications in the lives of the individuals present in the peasant communities.Este trabalho é fruto da dissertação de mestrado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Agrícola (PPGEA), na Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Seu objetivo principal é compreender o contexto de surgimento e oferta da educação rural no Brasil e seus principais contrastes com a educação do campo, numa estreita articulação com os movimentos sociais camponeses. Realizamos uma breve contextualização, a partir de revisão bibliográfica, consultas de artigos, dissertações e teses em plataformas virtuais, buscando compreender o surgimento e a inserção social desses modelos de educação numa perspectiva histórica, política e social, caracterizando os sujeitos, individuais e coletivos, atendidos. Compreendemos como as forças políticas dominantes impuseram seus modelos ideológicos de educação aos camponeses e como a escola agiu para reproduzir esse ideário de educação. Por fim, refletimos sobre os principais contrastes existentes entre a educação rural e a educação do campo, percebendo as principais implicações na vida dos sujeitos presentes nas comunidades camponesas
