The objective of this research was to determine the optimal protein requirement during the intensive culture of juvenile Solea senegalensis. There is little research and information on this subject and this is aggravated by fact that there is very high variability in production and reproductive performance among years. Fish were randomly distributed in twelve 120 L rectangular tanks (43 fish/tank), which had an opened water flow. Initial body weight and total length were 22,25 ± 2,74 g and 116,96 ± 6,17 mm, respectively (mean ± SD).
