School principals hold the responsibility of ensuring the climate throughout the school. Leaders from Title I schools have shown improvements in their schools by effectively implementing specific strategies within their schools. Responses from three school principals who received the Title I Academic Achievement Award in the 2013-14 school year, were taken and compared to view the similarities of the best practices they integrated at their school sites. Analyses looked at the experience the leaders had, building trust and cohesion among the staff, best practices, identifying teacher leaders, and embracing change in schools.
