There has been, firstly, an effort to show the trumpet in a number of different performing situations. The trumpet is to be found as a solo instrument with both organ and piano accompaniment. Also in this recital, the trumpet can be heard in a large group, a brass septet, and in a trio situation consisting of trumpet, bassoon, and piano.
