Evaluasi Simpang Tiga Bersinyal Jalan MT. Haryono - Jalan Gajayana Kota Malang

The signalized intersection of Jl. MT. Haryono – Jl. Gajayana Malang City is part of an industrial area, education and economic activities so that there is often a buildup of vehicles at peak hours. At this time the third intersection of Jalan MT Haryono - Jalan Gajayana Malang City is a trade center area with high volume and at these two intersections there is parking at the mouth of the intersection this can reduce the capacity of the intersection. The high volume of traffic passing through this intersection causes long traffic jams, long delays, the number of stops and a high ratio of stopped vehicles. From the survey that has been conducted in the field, the highest peak current value is 1923.7 pcu/hour and irregular conflicts in the intersection area. The method used in repairing intersections for the next 5 years uses regression analysis to determine the number of vehicle volumes, while the traffic is used to regulate traffic light signals according to applicable regulations, namely the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (1997). The intersection handling strategy used there are 2 kinds of alternatives, namely, first using time change analysis and the second using phase change analysis. The improvement resulted in a decrease in conflict at the intersection with an average delay value of 10.58 (sec/pcu) and was included in the service value of Level of Service (LOS) C
