EVALUASI KINERJA SIMPANG EMPAT BERSINYAL PADA JL. CILIWUNG– JL. SUNANDAR PRIYO SUDARMO – JL. BAUKSIT KOTA MALANG

An intersection is defined as a general area where two or more roads join including roads and roadside facilities for traffic movement within them. The signalized intersection of Jl. Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo - Jl. Ciliwung – Jl. Bauxite Malang City is part of the intersection in the city of Malang. Jl. Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo is the main route serving heavy and large vehicles. The signalized intersection of Jl. Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo - Jl. Ciliwung – Jl. Malang City Bauxite is a road to access the city center and settlements as well as other community activities, of course the movement of traffic flow at this intersection is large, causing congestion. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the signalized intersection of Jl. Sunandar Priyo Sudarmo - Jl. Ciliwung – Jl. Malang City Bauxite at this time. The study method refers to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual published by the Directorate General of Highways. The results showed that the Western approach (DS) = 0.90 with a queue length (QL) of 94 m, the South approach DS = 0.78 and QL = 103 m, the North approach DS = 0.88 and QL = 134 m, the East approach DS = 0.12 and QL = 9.68 m
