Poetry Slam and its possible usage in German language teaching at basic school

The work examines it from the point of view of literary traditions and linguistic specifications and offers use of short slam texts in German language teaching at basic schools. In the first part the work focuses on the tradition of the ?battle of poets? in German speaking countries. Poetry slam in many aspects follows the avant-garde of 1920s (mainly DADA), concrete poetry, revolt of 1960s (Beat Generation) and music styles of the second part of the 20th century (Hip Hop, Punk). In the second part there are 18 short texts and their possible usage in lessons. The next is a report about the use in lessons and a short questionnaire which deals with use of literary texts in teaching foreign languages at basic schools.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá moderním literárním fenoménem ?poetry slam?, zkoumá jej z hlediska tradic a jazykových specifik a navrhuje využití krátkých slamových textů při výuce německého jazyka na ZŠ. Práce se ve své první části soustředí na tradici této ?bitvy básníků? v německy mluvících zemích. Poetry slam zde v mnohém navazuje na avantgardu dvacátých let (především DADA), konkrétní poezii, revoltu let šedesátých (Beat generation) a hudební styly druhé poloviny století (Hip Hop, Punk). V části druhé je prezentováno osmnáct krátkých soutěžních textů a návrhy jejich využití ve výuce. Následuje zpráva o jejich použití v praxi a krátký dotazník, který zkoumá využití literárních textů ve výuce cizích jazyků na ZŠ
