Nutrition in the patients treatet by hemodialysis

The work sets the goal to evaluate knowledge of dialyzed patients about following the diet restrictions (restriction of phosphorus and potassium) and their adherence to dietary regimen and to create and anylyse educational materials. this work is composed of two parts. The first part is theoretical and the second is empirical. In the theoretical part there is description of the chronic renal failure from the physiologic point of view and possibilities of its treatment. Then it explaints the nutrition of patients in the chronic dialysis program and related dietary restrictions. Practical part deals with determinig goals and hypotheses. Description of metodology follows with informations about the organization of research, data collection, data processing and data evaluation. The base for the research is the questionnaire which was made on the nephrological - dialysis department of the Liberec Regional Hospital Inc. Results of the research show how the patients, treated by chronic dialysis, are educated about the nesessity to follow dietary restrictions.Celá bakalářská práce se zabývá výživou pacientů v dialyzačním programu Práce si klade za cíl vyhodnotit znalosti dialyzovaných pacientů o nutnosti dodržování dietních omezení (restrikce fosforu, draslíku) a jejich postoj k dodržování dietního režimu a dále vytvořit a vyhodnotit edukační materiály. Tato práce je složena ze dvou částí. První část je teoretická a druhá empirická. V teoretickéčásti je popsáno chronické selhání ledvin z hlediska fyziologie a možnost jeho léčby, výživa pacientů v chronickém dialyzačním programu, související dietní omezení. Praktická část popisuje stanovení cílů a hypotéz. Pokračuje popisem metodiky, organizací výzkumu, sběrem, zpracováním a vyhodnocením získaných dat. Podkladem pro výzkum je dotazník, který byl realizován na nefrologicko - dialyzačním oddělení Krajské nemocnice Liberec, a.s. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, jak jsou pacienti zařazení v chronickém dialyzačním programu edukováni o nutnosti dodržovat dietní omezení s tím související
