Anti-semitism in Czech Republic After the Year 1989

katedra: KSS; rozsah: 66The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of anti-Semitism in the Czech Republic after the year 1989, the development of this phenomenon, its historical and contemporary manifestations, causes and characteristics. The aim of this work has been to find out whether the anti-Semitic manifestations tend to increase in the Czech Republic. The thesis also studies cases of people with anti-Semitic behaviour, trying to find out what reasons they adduce for their behaviour. The survey has been divided into two parts: the theoretical and the practical. With the use of bibliography, the theoretical part explains the term anti-Semitism and describes its historical evolution. The practical part involves the answers for the established research questions, through the secondary data analysis in the first phase and through the dialogues´ analysis in the second phase. The thesis has led us to a conclusion that the anti-Semitism exists in the Czech Republic, can be clearly distinguished and that we can follow the trends of evolution that fluently follow up its historical manifestations. It is a challenge for the society to face this reality up.Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou antisemitismu v České republice po roce 1989, vývojem tohoto jevu, jeho historickými i současnými projevy, příčinami a znaky. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit zda antisemitské projevy mají v České republice vzestupnou tendenci. Dále se zabývala nositeli jednání s antisemitským podtextem a zjišťovala, jaké důvody pro své jednání uvádějí. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti, část teoretická a část praktická. V teoretické části byl za využití informačních zdrojů popsán antisemitismus jako pojem a jeho historický vývoj. Praktická část ve dvou fázích zajišťovala odpovědi na zvolené průzkumné otázky, a to pomocí sekundární analýzy dat v první fázi a analýzou rozhovorů ve fázi druhé. Za největší přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat zjištění, že antisemitismus v České republice existuje, lze jej rozeznávat a sledovat trendy vývoje jenž plynule navazují na jeho historické projevy. Je výzvou pro společnost, jak se s touto skutečností vyrovnat
