This review focuses on James Jaspers' latest book The Emotion of Protest published in 2018 and still untranslated into Spanish. The aim of this paper is to review the contributions of the work to the field of study of emotions, focusing on the author’s arguments about the explanatory potential of emotions in protest as well as the proposed emotional typology for use in empirical research.
